Torre de Hércules

The tower of Hercules is the oldest lighthouse still in use anywhere in the world. Dating from the Roman period, it’s almost 1900 years old and stands at fifty-five meters. The Torre is situated on a hill outside the city of Coruna – in North-Western Spain – gazing out over the Atlantic Ocean.
